All medications not picked up will be discarded.

Get Hooked on Summer Learning
If you are still looking for the perfect Summer Camp for your child, Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) offers many Summer Camps and Programs for students of all ages! Students can experience a variety of Athletic programs and camps for team and individual sports and Special Education and Performing Arts Camps, including Vocal, Instrumental and Visual Arts! Also, find out more about our Academic Summer School for middle and high school students (traditional classroom courses and eLearning) and Early Childhood and Kids Club opportunities. SUSD Grading Practices
Grading practices informational meetings
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Andi Fourlis will host two informational meetings this spring for parents and students to learn more about the changes in grading practices they can expect to see next school year. These meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, May 8 and Monday, May 20 at 6 p.m. at the Mohave District Annex,
8500 E. Jackrabbit Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85250. Parking is on the corner of Jackrabbit and 86th St. Parents and students are encouraged to attend either meeting.
In order to adequately prepare for the meeting, please RSVP your attendance to mday@susd.org.
Additional opportunities for parents and students to learn more about the new grading practices will be offered throughout the 2013-14 school year beginning with Back to School nights. We encourage you to learn more at your child’s school, or electronically. Printed and electronic materials will be available in August 2013 in the Digital Backpack at: http://backpack.susd.org/
There will be ten informational meetings about the K-12 changes held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. prior to the Superintendent’s evening office hours at each high school each semester.
Specific dates will be posted to the SUSD website in August 2013.

Attendance Policy
Scottsdale Unified School District (SUSD) is committed to regular attendance as the key to much of the success a student may gain from his/her educational program. It is the responsibility of the school to keep parents/guardians informed of actions that might have a detrimental effect upon the educational growth of individual students.
In compliance with state and local laws, policies, and procedures, please be aware of SUSD’s attendance policies (policies can be viewed at this link). Specifically, Arizona state law says that it is unlawful for any child between the ages of six and sixteen to fail to attend school during the hours school is in session, unless exempt due to extenuating circumstances as outlined in A.R.S. 15-802, 15-803. Please help your child get to school each day and make sure that all absences are called in (480-484-4600) prior to the start of school, otherwise please expect to get an automated call reporting your child(ren) absence.
